The program provides high school students and adult learners with comprehensive, technical, hands-on training grounded in modern industrial standards, national safety regulations, and practical code execution.

 

Students master foundational electrical theory, residential and commercial wiring methods, schematic and blueprint interpretation, conduit bending and installation, and advanced troubleshooting using digital multimeters and diagnostic equipment.

 

Integrated with alternative energy concepts and rigorous OSHA safety practices, this NYSED approved CTE program prepares graduates for immediate workforce entry and advanced post-secondary technical training.

  • Service & Branch Circuits

Certifications & Endorsements Technical Assessment:

OSHA 10 (1926 Subpart K Electrical)

Students completing the program successfully qualify to work as:

Residential/commercial electrician helper, electrical maintenance technician, control technician, or industrial maintenance assistant.

 

Employment Opportunities requiring further education:

Electrician apprentice, electrical engineer, electrical engineering technician, electronics technician, electrical maintenance technician, renewable energy / solar electrical technician, instrumentation & controls technician.
