Southern Adirondack PTECH Celebrates Class of 2026 Completion

The evening honored the hard work, perseverance and commitment of students who successfully completed the rigorous six-year program. Instructors reflected on the students’ growth throughout their journey and commended their resilience, determination and dedication to reaching this milestone.

The Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) program is an innovative educational model that prepares students for success in high-demand technology fields by combining high school, college and career training. Southern Adirondack PTECH is a local implementation of this model, developed through a partnership among WSWHE BOCES, SUNY Adirondack, local school districts and industry partners. Students begin the program in ninth grade and work toward earning both a Regents high school diploma and an associate degree from SUNY Adirondack, tuition-free, while gaining valuable hands-on experience and industry-recognized credentials needed for today’s workforce.

PTECH partners provide students with hands-on workplace experiences, including work-based learning opportunities, mentoring and paid internships that help prepare them for entry-level careers in STEM fields.

The Southern Adirondack PTECH program offers two career pathways: Advanced Manufacturing and Information Technology.

Congratulations to this year’s graduates!
