Our programs prepare you for jobs that employers are trying to fill — both locally and nationally. While many young people are finding it difficult to move forward with their careers, CTE graduates find themselves in demand.

SkillsUSA Competitions About to Heat Up

Thursday, March 02, 2017

Career and Technical Education (CTE) students from the F. Donald Myers Education Center and Southern Adirondack Education Center completed in local SkillsUSA competitions in February. Students are getting ready to go to the regional level next. They will join CTE students from all over the Capital Region on March 15 at the Schenectady Community College and Stratton Airforce Base. There they will compete in a variety of program specific and also leadership skills competitions. If they do well, it is on to the State competition in April.
