Our programs prepare you for jobs that employers are trying to fill — both locally and nationally. While many young people are finding it difficult to move forward with their careers, CTE graduates find themselves in demand.
Now more than ever, the United States faces a growing skills gap. The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is pleased to be doing its part in closing that gap by preparing the next generation of skilled workers and industry innovators.
After two years in CTE programs 496 high school seniors who attend the F. Donald Myers Education Center and the Southern Adirondack Education Center will receive completion certificates at a virtual completion ceremony. We are pleased to celebrate the accomplishments of these hardworking young men and young women.
CTE staff have cultivated an environment of learning that is unparalleled. They’ve helped students to uncover their unique strengths and interests, and they’ve helped to develop critical skills, self-confidence, and a standard of excellence that shows through CTE students’ performance at career competitions. Many CTE students will go on to college, technical schools or get right into the workforce.
